insertln, winsertln - insert lines into a window


#include <curses.h>

int insertln(void);

int winsertln(WINDOW *win);


The insertln() and winsertln() functions insert a blank line before the current line in the current or specified window. The bottom line is no longer displayed. The cursor position does not change.


Upon successful completion, these functions return OK. Otherwise, they return ERR.
