To define the elements that constitute the core of TOGAF Version 8, for reference in certification materials.
The core of TOGAF Version 8 consists of the following elements, each of which is uniquely numbered for reference in certification materials.
1. The sequence of activities represented by the Architecture Development Method (ADM)
2. The deliverables or "information sets" used or generated during the ADM cycle
3. The Foundation Architecture
5. The relationship of TOGAF to other architectures and architecture frameworks
