Description

The attachments define the structural configuration of a system. Each individual attachment connects a single port and a single role. No connection multiplicity or direction restrictions are imposed by ADML. Any such restrictions (for example that input ports be connected to output roles or that no role be connected to more than two ports) are attributes of individual architectures or architectural styles. Such restrictions can be stated as properties and enforced by tools that understand the semantics of such properties.
