rpc_tower_to_binding- returns a binding handle from a protocol tower representation
#include <dce/rpc.h>
void rpc_tower_to_binding(
byte_p_t prot_tower,
rpc_binding_handle_t *binding,
unsigned32 *status);
Input
- prot_tower
- Specifies a single protocol tower to convert to a binding handle.
Output
- binding

- status
- Returns the status code from this routine. This status code indicates whether the routine completed successfully or, if not, why not.
Possible status codes and their meanings include:
- rpc_s_ok
- Success.
- rpc_s_protseq_not_supported
Protocol sequence not supported on this host.
The rpc_tower_to_binding() routine creates a binding handle from a protocol tower. A protocol tower is the network representation of a binding handle.When an application finishes using the binding argument, the application calls the rpc_binding_free() routine to release the memory used by the binding handle.
