DESCRIPTION

This Product Standard provides a command line interface to Internet Protocol Suite (IPS) File Transfer Protocol (ftp) functionality as an initiator using OSI FTAM. Support for acting as a responder to requests from BSFT initiators is optionally provided.

CONFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Products conforming to the BSFT Product Standard shall conform to the requirements of a BSFT initiator as specified in the X/Open BSFT Specification1, including Erratum, April 1992 for pages 24 and 25, and may optionally conform to the requirements of a BSFT responder.
