pthread_self - get calling thread's ID

 SYNOPSIS

pthread_t pthread_self(void);

 DESCRIPTION

The pthread_self() function returns the thread ID of the calling thread.

 RETURN VALUE

See DESCRIPTION above.

 ERRORS

No errors are defined.

The pthread_self() function will not return an error code of [EINTR].
