DESCRIPTION

[CX] [Option Start] The functionality described on this reference page is aligned with the ISO C standard. Any conflict between the requirements described here and the ISO C standard is unintentional. This volume of POSIX.1-2024 defers to the ISO C standard. [Option End]

The clearerr() function shall clear the end-of-file and error indicators for the stream to which stream points.

[CX] [Option Start] The clearerr() function shall not change the setting of errno if stream is valid. [Option End]

RETURN VALUE

The clearerr() function shall not return a value.
