The Open Group publishes a wide range of technical documentation, most of which is focused on development of standards and guides, but which also includes white papers, technical studies, certification and testing documentation, and business titles. About this Document
This document provides a Handbook for individuals who are participating in Forums or Work Groups within The Open Group. It includes guidance on the development of The Open Group book format publications using the AsciiDoc markup language in a GitLab® environment. This is suitable for development of standards, guides, and white papers, including standards that are being submitted as ISO/IEC standards. The output can also be configured for camera-ready hardcopy publications.
The audience for this document is members of The Open Group who want to develop a document using the GitLab platform and the AsciiDoc markup language.
